We believe that recovery is an important of a tool in healing, we make it easy.

Stretch Therapy

Stretch therapy involves stretching the body's muscles and tissues in a gentle and controlled way. We will work with you to move your body through a series of stretches and positions, using a combination of manual therapy and assisted stretching techniques to help improve flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and alleviate pain. Stretch therapy can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other forms of physical therapy or medical treatment. It is great for arthritis, back pain, and sports injuries, and can also be beneficial for overall relaxation and wellness.

Infrared Sauna

What is an Infrared Sauna?

Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared saunas use light energy to heat your body directly — penetrating 2–3 inches into the tissue at a lower ambient temperature (120–150°F vs. 180–200°F traditional). Results: increased circulation, cellular repair, inflammation reduction, detoxification, muscle soreness relief, and parasympathetic nervous system activation.

What is Infrared?

Imagine it's a cloudy day, you are outside and it feels cool.  All the sudden the clouds shift, the sun is revealed, and a rush of warmth comes over you. The warm feeling is an infrared band of sunlight heating your body.

Is Infrared Safe?

The infrared heat produced by our sauna is entirely safe. There are none of the sun's harmful rays are in our infrared heaters, just a natural healing heat.  This heat is so safe that is it used in hospitals to keep newborns warm.

What are the Benefits?

Infrared  can assist in muscle recovery, improve appearance of skin, help lower blood pressure, ease joint pain and stiffness, support healthy weight loss, reduce stress, and improve cardiac health.

For Athletes:

Faster muscle recovery (increased blood flow delivers oxygen and nutrients to fatigued muscles), reduced DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness), improved flexibility and joint mobility (warming deep tissue makes it more pliable), cardiovascular and metabolic benefits, and improved stress reduction and sleep quality.

How to Use the Sauna at Capo

Standalone sessions (20–40 minutes), add-on to treatment (warming tissue beforehand enhances manual work), or combined with cold plunge (contrast therapy — alternating heat and cold is one of the most powerful recovery protocols available).

Who Should Try It?

Athletes looking to accelerate recovery, people managing chronic pain or joint stiffness, patients in active rehab who want to support tissue healing, anyone dealing with high stress, and people who want sauna benefits without the intense heat of a traditional steam sauna

Who Needs Cold Plunge?

Whether you’re an elite athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone who trains hard every day, Cold Plunge is for you. Here’s who benefits most:

Endurance athletes (runners, cyclists, triathletes)—cut recovery time so you can push harder in your next race.

Strength athletes (weightlifters, bodybuilders)—ease post-lift soreness and get back to the grind faster.

Team athletes (soccer, football, basketball)—recover post-game to reduce swelling and soreness for a quicker recovery.

CrossFit, HIIT, and intense fitness enthusiasts—speed up recovery after those heavy sweat sessions.

Anyone who wants to perform at their peak—because why wait to feel your best?

Cold Plunge

What is Cold Plunge?

It’s simple: submerge yourself in ice-cold water, and let your body do the rest. Our Cold Plunge therapy uses the power of cold-water immersion to help you recover quicker, fight off inflammation, and get back in the game faster. Experience a whole new way to recover—and dominate.

Why Cold Plunge?

Because recovery isn’t just about resting—it’s about getting better. Here’s how the Cold Plunge helps you bounce back and come back stronger:

Crush Inflammation: Ice-cold immersion helps reduce muscle swelling and inflammation after your toughest workouts or game day. Constricting blood vessels flushes out waste and accelerates healing.

Recover Faster, Train Harder: Less downtime means you’re back to training quicker. With reduced soreness and faster muscle recovery, you’re ready to take on your next challenge with full force.

Beat Muscle Soreness: Forget about the post-training pain. Cold Plunge is your antidote to DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). The cold helps reduce the stiffness that keeps you from hitting your goals.

Boost Circulation & Recovery: After your plunge, blood vessels expand, helping fresh, oxygen-rich blood flow to your muscles for faster recovery and repair.

Strengthen Your Mental Game: Cold immersion is as much a test for your mind as it is for your body. Build your mental toughness, sharpen your focus, and come out of each plunge ready to conquer the next challenge.

How Long Should You Stay in the Cold Plunge?

The cold will feel intense, but that’s the point. Stay in for 5-10 minutes and push your limits. We recommend starting small if you’re new to the plunge and gradually working your way up as you adapt to the chill. Trust your body, trust the process—it’s all about enhancing your recovery to perform at your highest level.

What’s Next?

Stop settling for slow recovery. With Cold Plunge at Capo Performance Rehab, you’re unlocking the power of faster recovery, stronger performance, and mental resilience. It’s time to go further, train harder, and recover faster.
